In the News: The Burlington County District Attorney recently filed criminal and civil complaints against three travel companies owned by the same person. The owner was accused of using high pressure and deceptive sales tactics to sell an estimated 200 vacations to unsuspecting victims. The New Jersey State consumer affairs director estimated that the defendant received around $400,000 solely from failing to provide the three-day cancellation period, which is required by New Jersey State law.
