In the News: The family of a 23 year-old Carroll County volunteer firefighter has settled their wrongful death lawsuit with the county for $300,000. Andrew J. Waybright, training to become a fulltime firefighter, died of heat exhaustion during training exercises. A plaque honoring the man will also be installed at the Carroll County Fire and Rescue Training Center.
