Since 1996, Attorney Sheri Pecarsky has been helping people with estate planning, probate litigation, guardianship issues, and estate administration cases. Clients who come to Ms. Pecarsky for advice or legal representation all feel comfortable and well-taken cared of.

Humble Beginnings

Ms. Pecarsky is one of those individuals who have their dreams sorted out early in life. Since high school, she had always envisioned herself as a respected lawyer, helping out her family and others who are in need.

She even drafted a will for her parents and took care of her grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. At a young age, this taught her about guardianship, the need for a will, and the importance of a power of attorney.

She also participated in school activities that involved politics and public speaking. She went on to pursue her goals and earned her Juris Doctor at the Temple University – James E. Beasley School of Law.

Values And Accomplishments

There’s one thing that made Attorney Sheri Pecarsky successful and that is passion. Fame and wealth may be one of the perks in pursuing careers such as a career in law, but for her, seeing her clients live happy and normal lives after their cases have been resolved is her most satisfying achievement. Often, she goes the extra mile to get more information from her clients so that she can help them even better.

One thing that led Attorney Pecarsky to choose estate planning is her compassion towards the elderly. Having her own parents and being constantly around with people who were born in the 20s and 30s made her relate and appreciate to those who are in that stage of life. For her, that makes a huge difference because she finds that, nowadays, a lot of younger people don’t have much patience for the elderly.

While Ms. Pecarsky values her work and relationship with clients, she also values her own family and well-being. She practices a healthy work-life balance because this is where she gains emotional and mental strength to do her best at work. As a lawyer who frequently deals with family-related cases, she understands the value of spending quality time with her own family and not to overextend herself at work. She believes that women should not be made to choose between being a stay-at-home mom or being someone with a successful career but their kids need a nanny. She wanted to show that any woman can be successful in their chosen career and still maintain that balance with their other life aspects. Ms. Pecarsky does her best to be a person who practices what she preaches.

There's always a solution to every problem and a good attorney will find a solution. Legal fees shouldn’t be a concern because it is your attorney’s job to find that solution for you in the most efficient, practical, and calming way. Don’t be afraid to ask questions from your attorney because every problem and every question is valid.

SLP Law And LegalMatch

Attorney Sheri Pecarsky thinks its important to customize legal services of each client to better meet their needs, and LegalMatch allows her to do that. LegalMatch also gives her access to a variety of clients she would not normally have. She is thankful for the opportunity to reach out to these clients because aside from being able to help them with their legal issues, her clients make her grow through experience.

She is constantly growing and learning from the experiences she gets from her clients, which is something that is important regardless of your profession. She loves her clientele and wants to help them handle the ups and downs of life. Her relationship with her clients is not something that ends after a case is resolved.

For her, they are a team and it’s a relationship, not an assignment, and one that doesn’t go away. She wants her clients to understand that she’s always available and ready to help them if they go through disputes, deaths, or any other predicament.

Advices she likes to share

She had been a young attorney once so she wanted to share her learnings to attorneys who are just starting out. She advises, “Take classes where you can learn about how to practice. Though subject matter classes are mandatory but also be involved in doing the practical basics of law as much as you can. Be more hands-on. Don’t be afraid to take risks and just put yourself out there because it’s the only time in your life that you really have before other challenges come into place.”

For her clients, if there’s any advice she would like to tell them, that will be to feel confident that every problem has a solution. She stated, “There’s always a solution to every problem and a good attorney will find a solution. Legal fees shouldn’t be a concern because it is your attorney’s job to find that solution for you in the most efficient, practical, and calming way. Don’t be afraid to ask questions from your attorney because every problem and every question is valid.” This is what she always aims to achieve – solving every client’s problem. She stated, “Your attorney is like your doctor, they take care of you and it shouldn’t be about dollars and cents, it should be about solving the problem that you’re faced with.”
