All legal matters require attention to detail and most require comprehensive evaluation and critical thinking. Whether it be in the area of estate planning which has necessary steps and documents required in preparing wills and trusts or in the areas of debt collection defense and bankruptcy which often require complex case analysis and conformity with rigorous court rules.

More often than not, the process should involve an attorney who practices in those areas, especially when the assets involved are considerable. Leighton & Abdo, PLLC, a trusted law firm in Arizona, focuses on assisting individuals through the complex and often daunting legal process.

Meet Nicholas Abdo

As a young man, Mr. Nicholas Abdo, a managing partner of Leighton & Abdo, hoped to become a respected lawyer. From the beginning, Mr. Abdo’s parents were supportive of him when it came to his dreams. Mr. Abdo completed his undergraduate studies earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance graduating Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2004. Mr. Abdo went on to prove his determination to practice law by earning his Juris Doctor from the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2009.

His interest in the field of law came from his fascination on how the law can help shape a society and, with that, how he can help others. Having had brilliant professors in the estate planning and bankruptcy areas of law gave Mr. Abdo an idea on what fields to explore once he started practicing.

Mr. Abdo indeed concentrated in practicing laws involving estate planning and debt relief and has enjoyed it ever since. Now, he is a member of the Arizona State Bar, the Arizona District Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Empathy is an important trait to be an effective attorney for Mr. Nicholas Abdo. He has an innate desire to help somebody who’s struggling in debt and help them through a bankruptcy so they can get some relief and have a fresh start with their lives. One thing that his clients appreciate is his ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Mr. Abdo always keeps in touch with clients, following-up with them on a regular basis, as well as returning phone calls or email because he wants clients to feel like they have their personal attorney and not a firm that just milks their pockets dry.

I would say that LegalMatch enhanced our ability to expand the breadth of our practice. [LegalMatch] brings in more unique cases that we might not otherwise get through other methods and it allows us to connect directly with potential clients.

My case wasn't particularly difficult, but there were some fine details to cover since it was banking-related. Nicholas did a great job getting me the exact document I needed along with guidance regarding scope and content.
