LegalMatch Has Given Me the Opportunity to Get More Clients Through Lead Generation

LegalMatch has given me the opportunity to get in front of more clients. When you're first starting out, you’ve got to sell yourself. You’ve got to bring in those clients and you fight tooth and nail for those opportunities. LegalMatch has allowed me to get in front of more of those people and created more opportunities. For me, I know that I could seal the deal and get the client once I met with them. So I just need to have a phone call or have an office visit with them because I'm personable. I can sell it. I'm good at what I do.

I always tell clients not to worry, you're in good hands. I know it's a stressful situation that they're going through, but I can handle it once they retain me. Once I step in for you, the weight is completely taken off of your shoulders and I'll bend over backwards. You know that you got somebody on your team going to the battleground day in and day out to fight for you.

I haven't met a single law firm or lawyer out there who cares more about customer service, the way that I care about it. To me, it was just a matter of getting those calls or finding out who to contact as an attorney. We can't just go solicit strangers on the street. So it's difficult to find clients.

LegalMatch is perfect because it helps us find those clients. The potential clients are asking to be contacted by an attorney. So as long as I get them on the phone and get them into the office, I know I could close the deal. You do that enough times and you do a good job, the word spreads. And that's how I've been able to get more opportunities from LegalMatch.

Now that I have been lucky to grow my practice to this point, I am trying to set myself up where I can start to work a little bit less on the weekends and become a little bit more family oriented.

It's not like their matches provide you income just by falling on your lap and falling on your desk. You’ve got to work, you’ve got to make the phone calls. You’ve got to reach out to these people and you’ve got to make the sale. Yes, I would definitely recommend a LegalMatch Membership for other lawyers. It's a great form of generating leads, but at the same time you have to be ready to sell yourself.

Some attorneys don’t realize that we’re also in sales. We are in sales because we have to bring in the client. We still have to bring in the business. It’s just like anything else -- we have to compete and we have to sell ourselves and answer the client question “Why am I going to choose you instead of anybody else, there's plenty of options out there?” so they can find the proper attorney to help them. LegalMatch has a great way about it, about doing the answer to that question and explaining things to people.
