To properly view LegalMatch and present a case to our system that local lawyers in your area
may review, your Web browser security settings must reset.
Your security settings for your web browser may have been set to the highest level. This can
turn off many features (such as Javascript) that are needed to use LegalMatch.
You should be using a version 5.0 or newer of Internet Explorer, version 6.0 or newer of Netscape,
or version 5.0 or newer of AOL to use the LegalMatch system. If you're using an older version of
any of these programs, use these links to upgrade to a newer version.
Follow the directions below to reset your security level:
Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 & 6.0; AOL - PC:
1. Select the 'Internet Options' menu item from the 'Tools' menu (for AOL:
select 'Settings' from AOL toolbar, select 'Preferences', click 'Internet
Properties(WWW)' from the window).
2. Click the 'Security' tab in the 'Internet Options' dialog box.
3. Click the 'Default Level' button, the vertical slider now shows the 'Medium' position.
4. Click the 'Apply' button
5. Click OK.
6. Close the browser and launch again.
(Notice that in Internet Explorer 6 there are Security AND Privacy
settings. Set both to Default Level for best results.)
Internet Explorer - Mac:
1. Select the 'Explorer' (OSX) or 'Edit'(OS9)from the Apple menu.
2. Select the 'Preferences'.
3. Click 'Security Zones' from the left menu.
4. Select the 'Medium' button.
5. Click the 'Ok' button
6. Close the window and launch again.
For Netscape 6.2, 7.0- PC and Netscape 7.0 - MAC:
1. Select the 'Preferences' menu item from the 'Edit' menu.
2. Select 'Advanced' from the left menu.
3. Click 'Enable Javascript for Navigator'.
4. Click 'OK'.
5. Close the browser and launch again.
Go to Tools, choose Internet Options, click the Security Tab, then click Default Level.
