Help — Changing your security settings

To properly view LegalMatch and present a case to our system that local lawyers in your area may review, your Web browser security settings must reset.

Your security settings for your web browser may have been set to the highest level. This can turn off many features (such as Javascript) that are needed to use LegalMatch.

You should be using a version 8.0 or newer of Internet Explorer, version 3.0 or newer of Mozilla Firefox, or version 3.0 or newer of Safari to use the LegalMatch system. If you're using an older version of any of these programs, use these links to upgrade to a newer version.

• Upgrade Internet Explorer
• Upgrade Firefox
• Upgrade Safari

Follow the directions below to reset your security level:

Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0, 8.0; AOL - Windows:

1. Select the 'Internet Options' menu item from the 'Tools' menu.
2. Click the 'Security' tab in the 'Internet Options' dialog box.
3. Click the 'Default Level' button. The vertical slider now shows the 'Medium-High' position ('Medium' in IE6)
4. Click OK.
5. Close the browser and launch again.

(Notice that there are Security AND Privacy settings. Set both to Default Level for best results.)

For Firefox 2.0, 3.0- Windows and Firefox 3.0 - MAC:

1. Select the 'Options' menu item from the 'Tools' menu.
2. Select the 'Content' tab.
3. Click 'Enable Javascript'.
4. Click 'OK'.
5. Close the browser and launch again.

For Safari 3.0 - Mac and Windows

1. Select 'Preferences from the 'Edit' menu.
2. Select the 'Security' tab.
3. Click 'Enable Javascript.'
4. Close the browser and launch again.
