Bravely, Mr. Jackson’s friend convinced Jackson to stay in the Houston area and called the police to inform them of the situation. He had to hide from Jackson when making the phone call while making sure Jackson did not flee. Mr. Jackson said he murdered the teen because he apparently thought the teen had broken into his car.
