Professional Overview:
Richard H.'s practice is in San Francisco. He attributes nearly half of his clients to LegalMatch. Perhaps this is due to San Francisco being filled with tech savvy people. Whatever the case, Richard jokes, "LegalMatch pays for my mortgage as well as my two kid's private school tuition."
Richard trained at two of the largest and most prestigious firms in the nation. He now devotes his time to making a difference to the lives of individual employees.
"I believe that each of my clients deserves aggressive and cost-effective advocacy, and I use any means necessary to achieve justice for them," says Richard.
Richard specializes in employment litigation, with more than ten years' experience in that area, including four years at a national employment law firm. "I have handled numerous wrongful termination, discrimination and whistle-blower cases in state and federal courts," says Richard.
As a trained mediator, he has served as Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Bar Association of San Francisco Barrister's Club. He is a member of the Executive Committee for the Bar Association's ADR panel and has authored several articles on employment and commercial arbitration.
"My work for disabled clients began with a law school clerkship with ACLU in Washington, DC as it forged the consensus in Congress to pass the Americans with Disabilities Act. Part of my ongoing practice is exploring and negotiating reasonable accommodations for disabled employees, and suing on their behalf if necessary," he states proudly.
Disabled or challenged clients often face hardships in everyday life and the Internet helps ease these burdens. With LegalMatch's simple client intake process, anyone with Internet access can post their cases, easily and for free, from the comfort of their own homes, reaching a multitude of attorneys with little effort.
